What we do.
Working with the best in the field Rick Newby, founder, and developer of HydroCourt, USA. We have developed a broader understanding of the ways to anticipate challenges that most clay courts present and how to accommodate solutions given the age, location, and use of each court. Our years of experience have provided the best methods to manage, resolve and restore clay court issues.
As a professional, I can evaluate and employ the most appropriate protocols to provide a recovery and restoration of your court to its optimum performance. I have come to understand how moisture, temperature, and amount of daily play affect the performance and quality of the surface of clay courts. When the time comes to address any particular issue, you have with your clay court(s), we have cutting-edge techniques and specialized methods to resolve them.
How we started
In 2008, Anthony began working at Birnam Wood Golf Club, in Montecito California. As luck would have it, two HydroCourts were being installed at the time. These two clay courts were being built by Rick Newby the developer of the first sub-irrigation system and founder of HydroCourts, USA, as well as the improvements that followed in later generations.
Anthony took advantage of the learning opportunities to develop his understanding of the requirements for the care and maintenance of their clay courts. This provided the Tennis Program with two of the best-performing clay courts in Santa Barbara.
All of this provided a better appreciation for HydroCourts, and with Rick Newby’s encouragement, the pursuit of a broader understanding of clay court maintenance, and ultimately the construction process.
Anthony spent over 11 years at that particular club and has since gone on to renovate and build HydroCourts in Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Idaho, and of course, California.
